Which Esk Valley station did Michael Palin use?

I'm planning a trip vaguely based on Confessions of a train spotter.
However, does anyone know which station Michael Palin gets on the train after his trip on the North York Moors Railway? I had assumed it was Grosmont, but I'm not sure. Anyone help is appreciated.
