Which depot signed London Waterloo to Plymouth?

I seem to remember SWT had a service from London Waterloo to Plymouth about a decade ago now, who actually crewed such a service? Was it Sailsbury or did SWT have a crew depot at Exeter? Thanks

The Plymouth and Paignton services were worked by South West Trains crews based at Salisbury.

The weekly service to Penzance, which spent Saturday night there before returning Sunday afternoon, was crewed by Wessex Trains (later First Great Western) west of Exeter though.
