Which companies require enhanced/standard passes?

Hii Ive had a look and tried to find the document that shows which TOCs/FOCs require enhanced or standard.

Can anyone help?

The OPC has a whole list of operators that use national or enhanced passes for TOCs, at least in relation to train driver roles. It's not that hard to find really, so if the link doesn't work just type "OPC Train Driver Assessment" on Google and click the first result. The page should have a link sending you to what I'm about to attach.

There are a few operators that are missing from the list. Grand Central, ScotRail and DRS spring to mind. Does anyone know what level they require, or are they in house, non OPC?

DRS require enhanced. Unsure about the others.

I recently found out that Eurotunnel require an Enhanced pass. I currently have a standard pass, valid until October 2023. I've been invited to an assessment with Eurotunnel, however, I am torn as to whether or not I attend. If I fail, then it overrules my valid pass. The TOC I work for (that requires standard), is likely to recruit trainee drivers this year, so I am trying to decide if I should wait, or just go for it and do the Eurotunnel assessments!

The thing to consider about Eurotunnel is the need to have fluency in two languages, so I believe. Having heard people in our messroom talk about it, the salary isn’t as comparatively high as it used to be for knowing two languages, two sets of rules etc. Personally I’d check in with your current TOC driver managers, explain the situation and ask what their timescales for recruitment are. No harm in asking.

Hi, thanks for your response. I’ve done this and am waiting on a response from my current TOC. Also going to sleep on it, and then decide.
