I'm modelling a layout and wondered what it needs. I thought that a bullet train would give it an edge. But I can't choose! Please help me by voting.
No - it is your railway, your fantasy. If you were reconstructing a set historical or geographical environment, you would not be asking the question. Go on, take your Javelins to Kyle, where they are dragged from the station by a Duchess. Have fun!it really depends where it is to be set, if it is set in the southern reigion then the javelin (make sure that it is on 3rd rail) if it is midlands/noth use a pendo (make sure it has OHLE)
You'll probably notice this gets moved in a bit to a different forum

Sorry, but I'm not modelling a region. It's just a gettogether of my my trains, which include smoky joe and a irish 141 no. 142it really depends where it is to be set, if it is set in the southern reigion then the javelin (make sure that it is on 3rd rail) if it is midlands/noth use a pendo (make sure it has OHLE)

Javelin any day! Just wished I'd actually travelled on one before
I think they should make a 395 that is set out like a proper long distance train with doors at the ends of the coaches instead...
II am getting a Javelin
Tut tut.
Obviously you haven't seen how dumb the pendolino looks. Tut tut tut tut tut tut.........
I see them every day. I love them. The Javelins look worse.
Javelines, however, don't travel to Scotland. Just my own personal preferance, really.
