Felt rather sad listening to it because of my time spent there all those years ago. If anyone goes in to Acle Signal Box and gets the drawings out of the relay cabinet and looks at the overall layout sheet, you will see an entry for January 1971 with the initials TAH, my initials. That's when we mole ploughed the cable from Breydon to Brundall and I did the designs for it.
In Lowestoft there is a lot of wiring I did for the abolition of Coke Ovens Junction, there's also lots of other bits and pieces I did around that area that will all now disappear.
I must try to get back there sometime and see how it all looks now. I expect I shall be quite shocked!
