Where was this class 37 going?

The Northumberland Gazzette reports a Class37 in difficulty on a trailer travelling north through Warkworth.
The photographs don't show any numbers on the locomotive.
I can't think of any railway locations between which it would be necessary to take this route.
Does anyone know the route?
