Where to find train headcodes for freight?

Does anyone know where I can find freight headcodes (preferably free)? RTT only shows fake codes also does anyone know the headcode for this train? http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/B12697/2015/01/18/advanced

I was going to plug FMonline, which features headcodes and booked
motive power for all regular freight services, including many diversions
and short term flows not listed in the WTT, but then I saw...

(preferably free)?

There are actually free resources available, which use the NR open data and extract it. Unfortunately the program I use is password restricted, even though it's a non-staff only site. Following Edwin_M's post, I have found the WTT codes online.

That's because, if such sites were freely available to 'all and sundry',
NR would have to clamp down on them and tell them to stop, as they
are breaking the 'headcodes must be scrambled' condition of open data
being made available in the first place.

As it is, because such sites are semi-private, a blind eye is turned...

It's how different freight services on the same route are identified
and referred to by both staff and enthusiasts for brevity...

With passenger trains, the departure time from origin tends to be used,
but because freights can run in slightly different paths on different days
of the week and are frequently retimed, often at short notice, quoting a
freight train's headcode is more reliable and concise than using its
departure time.

So its not an "obsession" as such, its just the way freight services have
always been referred to in the hobby, for as long as I can remember!
