Does anyone know if there are any digital timetables for Germany (DB)? (I.e. PDF). Do such things exist?

I'm planning a long trip in a couple days to a middle-of-nowhere station across ~4 connections using local trains (€42 ticket), and wanted timetables to use as backup for when I miss a connection and there's no wifi around to google.
Thanks!

For actual DB regional trains, kursbuch.bahn.de has already been mentioned. If it's not a DB company running the trains, PDF files are usually available on the TOC's website (look for "Linien" or "Fahrplan"). Exact URLs depend then on which lines you're gonna travel on

The Interrail Rail Planner app is very useful in that it has the entire national timetable of most European countries, including Germany, downloaded. It therefore works offline. You don't need to have an Interrail pass to use it.

The downside is that the app is only updated around once a month with new timetables and therefore it can sometimes be out of date. This is particularly the case where services are amended due to engineering work. It's therefore worth checking to make sure this isn't the case, before relying on what it says.

Being offline, it also doesn't have any live running information, so you won't know about any delays or cancellations. Nevertheless, it's still a very useful resource and in my view, is a perfectly good substitute for paper timetables.

Their (DB) app is surprisingly okay, tidy, functional and easy to use. Also has trains for most of Europe including the New Brighton line on zee Merseymüllwagen.

The Interrail/Eurail rail planner app might look tidy but should really never be used for any planning. It is only updated every few weeks, is often out of date and therefore unreliable.
If you're looking for an offline planner, then look into Můj vlak. It's an online planner but you can also download timetables for offline use, which it will keep up to date when online.
