Is there any data which states where rail passengers travel to/from? Rather than just the orr usage figures?

Estimations (symmetrical) of total passenger journeys made between station pairs for the financial year 2022-2023 as published by the Office of Road and Rail.

I think 23/24 just released a few week ago

I believe the ORR does publish a methodology statement for it's Origin-Destination pair stats. The majority of the data is based on the LENNON ticket database.

Am I right in assuming this data is ticket sales rather than journeys, so it’s skewed by splitting?

For example I looked at Hellifield which is a good split for Yorkshire to Glasgow, and Central and Queen Street are 6th and 9th, which seems unlikely if they were actual complete journeys
