Hi all
Does anybody know where 90046 has been taken to?
Just curious as to where and wether it was taken by road or rail?!

Well according to National Rail service disruption, the issue is set to resolved by tomorrow morning (Monday 6th), so I would presume that engineers will be working overnight to re-rail 90046 and test track, ready for the the first trains on Monday.

Was posted in the main topic that 046 had been removed yesterday and the OP is asking whether that was done by rail or road and where its gone.

At the Alsthom depot near Stonebridge Park on Saturday afternoon. It looked in reasonable shape, but of course I only saw it from a distance and for a few seconds as I was on the Bakerloo at the time.
It was on the rails at a siding quite far from any roadway or crane, so I'm guessing it either got their under its own steam, so to speak, or was shunted in.

It won't have been able to move under its own power due to its pantograph having been obliterated, but it was re-railed using jacks on Saturday so I'm guessing something came and dragged it down there.

Loco might be under quarantine, for further investigation.

Ran as 0Z14 to Wembley sandwiched between a pair of 57s. One from Wembley to attach to the southern end of 90046 and one from Oxley to attach to the northern end via a move involving the Drayton Road Crossover and running wrong-road.
90046 was deemed fit to move 'on its own wheels'.
