Waiting on Highbury & Islington's FCC northbound platform n the morning rush hour, it seems two out of every three trains rush through from Moorgate "Not In Service". We understand we're traveling in the non-peak direction but it's still very frustrating

I think they go empty to either WGC or Hertford North to form another service back into London. I see a couple go empty northbound through Potters Bar most mornings.

There are 13 trains from H&I to Finsbury Park between 0700 and 0900. There are 22 in the opposite direction. So more than half of them stop.

Well i dunno about them, but i know that the sidings at Peterborough normily hold a good 9 or 10 FCC sets. but that may have nothing to do with nothing.

It does have nothing do with nothing :P

They go back to Gordon Hill/WGC/Hertford and form more inbound services.

It makes sense really :)
