I travel with Grand Central Rail from sunderland, and always wondered where do train crew board?

Applied for a job with them too, so any insider info would help.

A driver or conductor role? The driver has to take the train to where ever it's kept overnight at the end of the day and pick it up from there at the start of the day, while the conductor only has to board at the first station the train pickups passengers and can alight at the final station where the train drops off passengers.

Are you sure the question isn't about where do they stay overnight at the London end?

As far as I've observed as a passenger the driver and guard come in on the train in from Heaton and the rest of the crew board at Sunderland.

I haven't ever noticed staff boarding at Sunderland as the set seems to be set up i.e seat reservations.

From reading the CSA do 1 lodge in London every 2/3 weeks?
