Here's my little game - Try and identify the locations, and post how to get between the nearest station to 1) and the nearest station to 2):

Think the second is Crewe? No idea about the first one, but I'm guessing TPX to Manchester Piccadilly, and 221/323/390 to Crewe...

Alistair's the closest so far for the journey, just one leg missed. If I were to suggest it involves a change at Stalybridge?

Trans Pennine 1P49 from Stalybridge to Man Picc.
Arriva Trains Wales 1V87 from Man Picc to Crewe.
