With 319's being hot news at present and some talk on their pantographs, has got me thinking.
When built, 319.001 - 060 all had Stone Faiveley pantographs fitted. Many were replaced with high speed Brecknell Willis at some point or other. What has been the reason for the change and has this been done as part of classified overhaul or as and when pantographs get damaged?
I note very few units now still have Stone Faiveley pantographs. Where have all the others gone? Presume either damaged/condemned or to replace pantographs on other units (i.e. 313's?)
