I think that it is only 4 stations up the line from Irvine, namely Lochwinnoch.

The site of the closed Lochwinnoch station in the village itself is also on the photo to the northwest of this station; when the second station was open and for some years afterwards, the current Lochwinnoch station was named Lochside.
