I was going to say Squires Gate as well, but got beaten to it. I had only been looking at that place a couple of weeks ago to see how easy a place was to get to from the station there.

So the recognisable ones went over the weekend... :'(

Here are the clues I've noticed on this one:
- double track to the north, single track to the south (I think)
- used to have terminal platforms to the east - now the car park
- the size of which makes me think suburban (as does the scenery)
- larger shelter on the northbound platform - the possible one-direction flow also makes me think suburban
- no overhead electric
- gently undulating land, especially to the west

On the right track so far?

Well... it's certainly not suburban but you're definitely right that it is not wired.

I cannot be sure if the car park occupies a former yard or if there were once more platforms there; I would have to look that up.

Having researched it, I can say that yes - there used to be passenger platforms and then latterly freight facilities in what is now the car park.

Does that help clue-wise?

The road the car park is on takes a sharp 90 degree bend at the station. Also, another road runs underneath both it and the railway near the station.

Open floor.
