Whats up with Tornado?

Today's steam hauled VSOE was hauled from Victoria by 70000 insstead of 60163, which was standing in for Clan Line!

Nice to see Britannia, but I wonder whats up with Tornado, seemed in fine form the other week on the VSOE.

From the Latest news section of the A1 SLT website

The Trust is disappointed to announce that Tornado will not be hauling the 'British Pullman' on 12th October 2011 and has been replaced by 70000 Britannia. This is due to a defective pipe on Tornado needing to be repaired before the locomotive entered service and this did not prove to be possible in the time available as the locomotive is currently at Barrow Hill Roundhouse near Chesterfield. The Trust reluctantly took the decision when it became clear that there was not sufficient time to complete the repair and move the locomotive to London. This timely decision enabled an alternative locomotive to be sourced and the Trust is most grateful to the owners of Britannia for making her available. The Trust apologises for any disappointment caused.
