What's up on WCML tonight?

On the Cal Sleeper, been sitting in Crewe about an hour which seems excessive - any idea what's up and whether this service is usually able to make up time? Can't really afford to be that late in the morning.

Another Crewe arrival is showing as "This service was cancelled between Runcorn and Crewe due to a person hit by a train"
May be connected.

There was an incident in the Winsford area and two freight trains were stationary on the two track section, blocking both the up and down. The sleeper was held at Crewe and was in a position to divert via Manchester, however the driver didn't have the route knowledge, so it was stayed at Crewe for around 90 minutes until the down line was opened again.
