I heard of a fatality at Rugby recently, anyone else hear about it?

Pretty much anywhere with non-stopping trains can be a hotspot.
Acocks Green in Birmingham only has Chiterns passing through between Moor Street and Solihull (well, and a bit of freight), but its quite a hotspot.
Interesting, if somewhat morbid story: once somebody had the bright idea of jumping off the side of the platform staircase, into the path of a freight train. Only they misjudged it and ended up in one of the open wagons, and nobody noticed them until the train got to its destination. They were dead by then, but probably weren't when they landed. Ouch....

Harrow & Wealdstone has always had more than it's fair share of fatalities, in fact there are now posters advertising the Samaritans on the station and at least one direct phone line to the local Samaritans "office" on the station.
Did it actually fail? Because it was running late all the way from Wolverhampton, and ran its return journey on time. Looks to me like it was turned back at Runcorn just to get it back on schedule...
Also... what has this got to do with Euston?!
No something happened to it outside South Parkway, it ran 50 minutes late throughout to Wolves before turning back. I was stuck a block behind it between West Allerton and South Parkway. It certainly didn't turn back at Runcorn or I'd have seen it, and the system shows it leaving Stafford in service.

No, it didn't turn back at Runcorn, but it didn't make it to Liverpool SP either.. Hmm.
The only mention of it on the LM site is this:

And the 2136 from Brum 1F61 did make it to Lime Street at 2337 and is now working 2K83 2334 (7 late) Lime Street to Crewe 4 vice 8.

I work in South Parkway.
Not sure what went on, but the train departed South Parkway, then came to a grinding halt very shortly after, with half of the train still occupying the platform.
The other half was other the junction, so all traffic through South Parkway came to a grinding halt.

This app has suffered from severe criticism during the recent period of rail chaos. It seems to be a case of don't buy certainly at £4.99! They have removed some features - platform information for trains - and it appears that it no longer provides live information certainly when you need it.
Advice - Check out the reviews before purchasing!
