I haven't cleared it out since I got it in 2008 and it's gradually falling apart now. I got it in Australia, so UK notes don't fit in it and have to be folded up

I'm willing to offer your UK notes a good home in my wallet

My letter's the nearest I've got. I only have only one photo, and I don't want to cut that up. Haven't seen her for three years, and it did not last very long, but the letter is still there. :(

A letter sometimes is better than a photo. It's actually a part of that person, hope you find happiness soon.

I'm not saying anything! Oddly the only photo I've had in my wallet was a passport photo of...myself. I took it with me for some reason or another years ago and didn't need it, so forgot about it. It was a bit of a surprise when 'er indoors saw it and took the ****. My story is I've got plenty of photos on my phone, no need for more wallet fodder.

My ex used to keep one pic of me on his phone, sandwiched between all his landrover and kettle pics! I was outnumbered one to 450....:lol:

If you come to Edinburgh, I'll give you all the ones that are in it just now ;)

Cheating!

It's always a delight seeing Scottish banknotes issued to a) idiots, or b) tourists who have been in England first. A german guy absolutely lost it earlier this week when handed back a Clydesdale note in the coffee shop, very entertaining till he smashed the cups on his tray...

Bearing in mind that the most I ever carry with me is my BlackBerry and wallet (and rail pass and keys if need be) I have never been able to work out why women carry so much pointless rubbish around with them! ;)

Thanks to this thread I now know which wallets to pick and which ones to leave alone!

Reminds me of Snake on the Simpsons conning three of Homer's college buddies out of some $s by pretending to be a 'Wallet Inspector'.

This is bound to be a typical "man" question but how to stump socks differ from the regular variety?

That could create an entertaining catch 22 situation if they ended up at the bottom

I had my leg amputated just below the knee, so i have what is effectively called a stump. They are special orthotic socks made to fit over the area so the stump can be placed in the socket of the false leg! :D
