I'm all in favour of my email account being protected but when Yahoo uses old grainy photographs and then insists there are hydrants to be found in them and then when all's correct says you've taken too long, try again tomorrow.....

Or is it just me?

No it is not just you - I've been getting the same for a while now. The ' taken too long ' or ' too many attempts ' really is annoying.

I also get
'Uh-oh... We can’t sign you in at the moment. Please try again in a while'
but if I click the bookmark again the inbox opens.

I think that sometimes they ask you to find something that isn’t there in the expectation that you will correctly avoid ticking anything. It is difficult for me to differentiate between a car and a bus, and to work out how much of bicycle or motorcycle riders to include. I haven’t been timed out recently, and then only when the system was slow, but I have sometimes had to go through up to a dozen sets before it is satisfied. (Famous last words.)

It has been getting more frequent recently, but I mostly get it when going to Maps on Google. I have not, so far, had this on my .yahoo.co.uk e-mail.

Glad to hear it's not just me.

I entirely agree about struggling to work out how much of a bike or motorbike they want you to include. And how much of the rider for that matter. I think the pics are poor because of some AI thing or other and it's not impossible it's AI again deciding what is or isn't to be included. It's very annoying since I had to spend way too long logging in again this morning. This on a .co.uk address, by the way.

Heigh-ho!

usually to me anyway these are worded reasonably

Since they ask for bicycle or motorcycle I aim for all of it but as they do not ask for the rider I do not select squares that only have the rider. What is difficult is when only a very small part of the bike / motorcycle might or might not be in a square. Also have to watch if there is a second object that can be small in shadows of one or more squares.

Yesterday and again now I can not log in to Yahoo or AOL.

With Yahoo after entering the password and clicking 'Next' the split circle rotates for a while then goes away leaving the 'Next' box. Click again and the same loop

With AOL a message ' We have encountered a problem. Please try with a different device '.
It has been flaky for a couple of day needing more than one attempt but now multiple attempts fail.

Have others found the same ?
