What's Going On With My Framerates!!

:x Really annoyed now, I can't get anything in BVE4 going.

It goe's a bit like this.
I have installed aload of Adobe Suite Software (Flash,Fireworks,Dreamweaver etc.) and I went to load up BVE and it started at 45 FPS, then it slowly drops..and drops...to 0.0FPS.

I have tried everything to get it going again. New Graphics Card Drivers (Nvidia 7900GS) reinstalled BVE4 and Net Framework but it's still not working. :x

Anybody know what I should do now? I wouldn't of thought the Adobe stuff would of interfered with it.

If the Adobe stuff is running in the background, you have your problem. Also remember, BVE isn't just dependent on the graphics card. You will need a good amount of RAM as well.

I thought everyone knew anything made by Adobe will steal RAM like nobody's business, whilst being a generally unstable and poor quality program.

The wierdest thing is I have no Adobe software running in the back ground have a decent amount of RAM (2GB) to be exact. My task manager says this when I load BVE 4

Also remember BVE uses the CPU a lot.

Did you download the latest Nvidia drivers? If so, that generally is the problem. I had to roll back to a previous driver to get it working.

Nividia are known for releasing half completed drivers.
