Hi all,

Ive scanned the past pages and havent seen a question of what is best to run EA Railsim. It says on some sites the basic requirements but not all of it..

Will it run on my PC? I have/soon to have:

-HP Compaq 2.66 GHz processor
- 728M of RAM
- tommorow my Sapphire 1024MB graphics card will arrive
- have 6GB free of space but soon to upgrade extra space to 100GB or something
- On-Board Sound Card

Any of this will do?

P.S maybe make a sticky for those wanting full details of requirements such as Op System, Graphics, Sound, Processor, Space, RAM and anything else.

Cheers,

James.

Seeing as I wasn't in yesterday... and I'm the Computer Geek of 455s:roll:.

I run mine on a 256MB Graphics card and 512MB of Ram, most settings on medium and I can get 15-20FPS.

Heart-of-Wessex, Your system can take running KRS using the CPU, but Ive never heard of the graphics card .

Thanks to 466.networkers for the details.

As a guide, the free roam Oxford Paddington Scenario will take upto 720Mb RAM to load in on high detail settings.

The Sapphire card is just another model. nVidia and ATi make the core components, but several manufacturers produce and sell the cards. Check out cards available www.scan.co.uk for example. Loads of nVidia and ATi cards sold by BFG / Asus / XFX / Gigabyte to name but a few.
