What type of face covering do you use

Just curious to see what type of face mask/covering is most commonly used in other areas. In my area the vast majority of people I see use disposable surgical type masks and blue nitrile gloves when out and about

Anyone wearing gloves out and about needs re educating. Any of my patients who arrive wearing them are politely asked to dispose of them in the nearest bin. They never wear them on leaving, after I explain the logic (or lack of)

I mainly wear a re-usable mask. I've got a few so I have some clean while the others are in the wash.

But I also bought a pack of disposable ones which I've split between various coat pockets, the car, bags and so on in case I forget to take one out with me.

I don't wear gloves (unless picking up dog mess but that's nothing to do with Covid!)

I accidently put one of these disposable masks in the washing machine and it came out perfectly usable after the wash cycle. I don't know if its effectiveness was diminished.

I wear disposable masks as I can change it a reasonable amount of times, 50 for 30 quid in Boots, the only problem is that unlike me, some people think that it's acceptable to just dump their used mask on the ground or the floor on the train or even hanging from a street sign.

Given that an old t-shirt is fine, I don't think a mask that's been through the wash is anything to worry about. But I am surprised it didn't make a mess, like when someone leaves a tissue in their pocket.

I've washed my "disposable" mask a few times. I've just switched to a cloth re-usable one.

I’ve got (I think) 4 reusable ones. Enough so I’ve always got at least one when others are in the wash.

I have 3 Formula One-branded reusable masks. I also have a pack of 10 disposable masks in my backpack in case I ever forget to take the reusable ones.
