Very, very bad idea.

We are all subject to a social media policy, even though we may not have bothered to have read it. The one I'm subject to precludes me from identifying myself as an employee of the organisation, and if I rememebr correctly, from discussing my employer.

I would be surprised if any TOC/ FOC didn't have a similar requirement.

Have to disagree with you there. I can't see it's in contravention of any social media policy. No-one is bad mouthing their employer and the information is already shared in the public domain. I can't see how it's any different to the "are there any Virgin West Coast drivers who know if...blah blah blah ..." questions that come up all the time.

Now, if someone was to say "our MD is a $%^% and he has a stupid policy on this that and the other" then it would be different. But it's clearly not that.

EDIT: Just seen it's been deleted. Pity, though I agree with your sentiments as to why! :)
