What is a 'link'?

Sorry but you are gonna have to run that one by me again. How is one supposed to have spaded a signal that isn't at danger? The clue is in the acroymn isn't? I hope the "manager" got his bollox suitably chopped off!:roll:

If the signal had failed and wasn't showing any aspect at all, and the driver passed it?

Its not a stop signal though, it's a distant, you can't SPAD it

Us Guards at my place have two links. Link one sign more of the route than link 2, and don't have such late finishes. But if you're spare, you can get marked to link two's work, but if you're in link 2, you cannot cover all of the other link one's work due to route knowledge.
