I’m facing a disciplinary hearing in the coming weeks & wondered what happened to my sentinel & pts if I am sacked? (It’s not for drugs and alcohol )

Network Rail is your sponsor, so I’d assume that you would lose your competencies and if you were to say go contracting then they would sponsor you.

Can they ban your sentinel for a time period? My pts has been suspended currently pending investigation,

Network Rail own and run Sentinel so I assume they could ban it yes, however its useless without your PTS being in use as that will supersede every ticket on your card. If you were to move to a contractor, they would have to apply for a sentinel card to Network Rail then put you through a PTS again. The best people to ask about this would be a union rep who will be able to give you more accurate information.

It’s worth a mention that this forum is not as anonymous as you’d expect. An employer can very easily work out who you are based on what you have typed.

This post could be seen as an attempt to potentially bring the employer into disrepute.

Whilst you/we cannot delete anything that has already been published, please bear this in mind for further posts.

While deleting what has been published is not possible, it should be possible to edit the posts to remove revealing information. Of course the employer may have already seen the posts in which case it’s obviously too late but otherwise it would be possible.

There are also callback/archiving services. It is good practice to consider posting online the same as handing a physical copy of the information to a stranger. You can ask them to delete it, but you don't know they haven't made other copies in the meantime. Almost anything posted online can be retrieved with sufficient effort, even after deleting or editing.
OP has done what they can now.
