What happens now?

I applied for a trainee train driving job at TfW last Saturday (13/04) (the day before the deadline) and i'm unsure of what happens now.
Do they reply to everyone to let them know whether it's yes or no? How long does a reply tend to take? Is there an initial interview?

Being a driver would be a bit of dream come true for me so it's been a week of nervously refreshing my emails already.

I don’t know the specific process for that TOC, but if you are “nervously refreshing” after a week, I’ve got news for you...

Replies can take months.

Took me over 4 months to get a reply from Northern once. My advice is to forget about it and you might get a surprise email. Usually, there are hundreds or thousands of applications for a few positions

I applied for the role too, and it did state in the advertisement that it would take a few weeks before they start getting back to people.

When I applied for the conductor position back in December, it took about 3 weeks before I got a response.

Though I am not sure if they send out responses to those who don't make it past the initial shift though.

Recruitment at TFW is mega busy at the moment, it's a waiting game.

My friend applied for this role in December and his application still just says submitted so I wouldn't expect anything soon.
