What happened to this train?

Seems to have given up the ghost at Salford Crescent around 09:30 and still no reports just before 17:00! I presume it was a 331 or a pair of?

SPAD at Piccadilly put platform 13 out of use at the time, which resulted in P14 becoming bi-directional causing some lengthy delays this morning.

Presumably it was the train to Norwich that had a SPAD?

If ineed it was 1L06 the train to Norwich that had the SPAD what would have happened to the train and the crew as its an East Midlands Railway service and they dont have any spare Crew at Manchester do they?

Any ideas what caused the SPAD? Driver or signal error?
