Ah, I wasn't aware of the government's response. Nothing happening re: Appendix 5 Uckfield line modernisation it seems.

Not really. But one can hope...
I recall it being published...is anything being actioned?
They chopped the overnight trains to Victoria and concentrated the service on Blackfriars. There are frequent night closures of bits of the Brighton Main Line.

They had some all line blockades to "do" the tunnels , and replace junctions.
