What happened to the Cardiff to Nottingham service?

I have in the past caught direct trains between Cardiff and Nottingham.

The pdf timetable I found on the Crosscountry web site suggests there should still be such a service.

But I can't find any on travel planners which are suggesting a rather convoluted route.

I don't find the CrossCountry web site that easy to navigate but I can't find anything suggesting that they can't run their timetable.

Does anyone know what's happened?

Gloucester to Severn Tunnel Junction is shut for works until 16th Aug. Services terminating at Gloucester during the works

There is engineering work between Severn Tunnel Junction and Gloucester so they are aren’t running for a few weeks at the Cardiff end. But will be back !
