what exactly is so non-standard about the 150 prototypes?

obviously other than the powered cab doors and the "proper" MSO's, just what is so non-standard about them?
does 002 still have a perkins engine for example?

150002 has the standard Cummins engines fitted now, but the DMS of a 150/0 is about 0.5m longer than the DMS of a 150/1/2.

Permanent Bar Couplings between vehicles instead of Semi Permanent BSI Autocouplers (so they can't work with other 150 vehicles)
