Im ashamed to say i had every intention of hitting the chippy, but i had to pass the chinese on the way....so i ended up having crispy shredded chicken!!
Had to spend four hours out with the dog though in order to work it all off!!!!

I'm currently enjoying a breast of chicken curry with fried rice, yum.
Today we will soon be enjoying an Irish classic, or so I am led to believe, boiled bacon and cabbage!

Ok so if no one else is going to ask i will, if Maccy d's was'nt selling burgers........ what were they selling?
Personally if i want a burger, hotdog, chips or sausage and bacon sandwich or anything like that then you can't beat a good quility burger van on the side of the road or on an industrial estate!

I went for a meal last night liver and bacon and onion gravey sometimes simple food is the best.

Black pudding is mostly gristle, blood and fat. Very tasty it is too.

I hadn't tried stornoway black pudding in my life until recently, and I have never tasted a finer black pudding. It is to die for.

But good English food is very, very nice. A bacon sandwich, steak and kidney pie or pudding, Roasts; Beef, lamb and pork. English cheeses, good cheddar or stilton.

As a devotee of the Bury black pudding I'll have to try that. I'm quite partial to haggis too - but not the frozen supermarket muck they try to palm off around Burns' Night south of the border. Nice and fresh from a butchers shop always. A proper cooked breakfast is not complete without haggis and/or black pudding.:P
