Hi

In 1996 together with some friends I went from Victoria to Dover and then Dover to Ramsgate. Spent the night in the waiting room at Ramsgate station (long story...involved lots of beer). Then Ramsgate to Victoria. I "think" the train from Ramsgate to Victoria connected with a ferry.

Doesn't anyone know what class of classes of locomotive were being used on this route around that time?

Thanks

Alex

There may have been ferries at Ramsgate then, but no formal connections, as the station is well inland.

If you had a door to each seating bay, a VEP. If doors on the centre and ends of the carriage only, a CEP (or possibly a CIG by this time).
