I was due to get the 10.00 Ramsgate to Canterbury West this morning

This train has been cancelled - the next one is at 10.42. This would mean that I would be too late for the meeting I was due to have - so that’s been cancelled too

I have an ordinary day return with a Disabled Railcard. There is an itinerary Ram - CW 10.00 arrive 10.20

Return 15.20 - 15.49

What can I claim here - if anything!

You can claim a refund from the ticket retailer if you do not travel. If you travel you can claim Delay Repay compensation from the train operator.

Must be a way of appealing this. Which firm sold you the tickets?

£10 admin fee not applicable when train was cancelled. Call SouthEastern customer service. Hopefully they will sort it out.

Thanks very much

Have done so. They said there would be an admin fee of £5. I protested and it would appear I should get the full refund

I'll believe it when I see it in my account!

They are very wrong; if you didn't travel then they absolutely must issue a 100% refund.

Have they accepted this yet?

If not, I would switch to a different retailer for future purchases.

Had you bought the ticket from us, a refund would not be quibbled (and if it was quibbled, letting someone such as myself know would have resulted in the matter being escalated and you would have had the refund processed very quickly after!)

I am waiting for a decision

Point taken about booking sites. Southeastern does allow me to donate to one of my preferred charities when purchasing with them which is useful

This is my first “issue” with them too

Thanks for all the help and guidance
