What browser do you use/prefer?

I'm using Chrome at the moment, which IMO is better than IE, although I do find the boxes around things annoying and when you are reading a thread, if press backspace, it will still say you havent read it which is a downside compared to IE. Firefox is ok i suppose

Same here mine takes about 5 mins too start after pressing the icon and after i close it, it stays on and wont let me start it up again so i have to end the prossesss!!!

I think that the sample of people who have voted/or on the forum are quite good with computers hence not using IE but if we were to go on the street and ask the same question to the general public i should imagine that IE would be the main browser used, i used it up until this year

Other-Netscape Navigator for me i think it works better than Internet Explorer and Firefox

Google Chrome. It's lightweight, loads quickly, extensions and themes are now available for it, it's becoming the ultimate browser.

Actually, he has some of us pegged, so don't go jumping on soap boxes.

Also I agree with him with the techie side of it, a majority of people who don't use IE, are usually more technical minded than people who stick with IE.

If you had read the post properly i think you will find i said people who are quite good with computers meaning they know quite a few things about computer sure as the difference between web browsers i never said people being computer pros or experts
Are you only happy when your having a go at people, you might think its big and clever, but its just sad, annoying and the main reason why most people on this forum are just fed up of you and your wise cracks

I have IE and Firefox, switched to using the latter after upgrading to IE8 then finding out that it was rather flaky (might be my 4 year old computer). Agree with the comments that the latest version of Firefox appears to be rather slow though I have not had it actually lock up or crash yet - still got IE6 at work and that seems to work fine on what is a very basic computer.

It works fine for me, I have to say - no, it's not perfect, but it certainly does the job. I have considered using Chrome, but I actually am reasonably satisfied with IE!

At Home: Firefox although when I want to access the FCC intranet I've got to use Internet Explorer, have not got any choice or say in the matter - will cost too much to set up the intranet for other browsers to use.

At Work: Again, Internet Explorer is king here simply because no other browser is available.

Out and About: Blackberry Browser, depends on if I can get a good signal or not though...

And at school a mixture of; Chrome, Firefox 3, IE8 (on the new PCs) and IE6 on the new laptops god knows why! It's terrible.
