Have just watched 'Great British Railway Journeys' with Michael Portaloo. Has to be the best programme on TV at the moment. Friday's edition finished in Weymouth. Haven't been there for many years. So have decided to go down for a week probably in June with the bicycles and walking boots.

Does anyone know or recommend any small hotels or Bed & Breakfasts in Weymouth? I've looked on the website but a recommendation is better than a pin. Thanks.

Being a local I obviously know nothing about hotels. But if you want places to walk or cycle I recommend the trackbed if the Abbotsbury branch, then returning via the coast path as a good day out.
