The old thread about speed restrictions that don't go away is locked so started a new one.
Having regularly used this line over the last year, a 40mph temporary speed restriction exists for Fairwood Junction and most of the up avoiding line that seems to have been around for a long time (normal speed 100mph). On the last journey over it the train manager actually made an announcement apologising for the slow running due to this. The down line and movements to/from Westbury station/yard appear to be unaffected.
Are there any disclosure works lined up to get it lifted?
