West Yorkshire DaySaver Evening Restrictions

Hi all, I think I know the answer to this but just seeking confirmation. The West Yorkshire DaySaver ranger has an evening restriction between 1600-1830 but I just want to clarify that it is not valid on services timed to depart from 1600 until 1830 and that I could take a service timed to depart a station within the ranger area as late as 1559 and complete my journey within the ranger area irrelevant of the arrival time?

Provided you don't change trains, yes - that's the rule for off-peak fares anyway.

To be precise, the restriction applies on services departing after 16:00 and before 18:30, i.e. 16:01 to 18:29. So you could use a train departing as late as 16:00.

According to the Metro Website, you can catch a train as late as 1601.

Off-Peak Countywide Bus and Train tickets are valid on any bus from 0930 and on any train from 0930 to 1601, and from 1830, Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and public holidays.

(No times are given for the rail only ticket, just the vague "off-peak".)

Bus and Train tickets are valid on buses from 0930 but have no afternoon restriction for buses. Oddly, bus only tickets no longer have a morning peak restriction.
