West Midlands Trains problems: could a temporary timetable work in the short term?

It’s getting beyond a joke though. Surely an emergency timetable where the frequencies are decreased with additional rolling stock being used to duplicate would work. Surely if you did the following a reliable service can be reintroduced?
Cross City - 15mins instead of 10mins
- Run Lichfield - Redditch/Bromsgrove
- Run Half as Doubles/Run an extra train New St - Longbridge

Snow Hill - 30 mins Kidderminster-Stratford Stopper
-30 mins Worcester - Whitlocks/Dorridge

Birmingham International Stoppers
- Calls added to London services

Liverpool - New street
One train through, 1 Liv - Crewe joined with Crewe - New St via Stoke

Chase Line
Trains run separately from London
Same applies to Walsall - Wolves stoppers

Surely this would work for the West Midlands part?

Much as it would lengthen through journey times, 10 minutes layover at Northampton on each service would help.

Or if that couldn't be pathed, drop each train back so it joins with the next one at Northampton, if you see what I mean. Fundamentally it's primarily a local service, and fi you're just doing London to Birmingham on the cheap you can wait 20 minutes.

Can the Snow Hill lines not revert to the previous timetable in May, that worked reasonably well, the current one is a disaster.

Last Friday saw the genius collective cancel four Stratford/Whitlocks during the evening peak, but ran the normal albeit sllghtly late timetable for Dorridge/Leamington.

I'd rather have a punctual and reliable hourly 8 car service than a hotch potch half hourly 4 car one myself. To be fair I've called for that for a while - Liverpool-Brum even in LM days wasn't that reliable with quite a lot of cancellations - that is why joining it to the reasonably reliable Euston service was nuts - it dragged it right down.
