Ah you'll probably be looking at a 2027 start date now. Had my DMI in May with an October start date, but I suppose there is still time for the October course if they haven't filled it yet

Not yet, why do you say this? Have you already passed tests etc?
Or do you mean to e online sifting tests if so I just heard I have passed today on email
I received an email today saying because I have passed stage 1 & 2 I’m in there “talent pool awaiting DMI” this was for the Bletchley depot.

Yes passed 1/2 & MMI in February with a different TOC to enhanced level

No worries when you say enhanced is that just an extra test? The DFFT?

Anyone had email saying you passed but if you have done psychometric to wait whilst they check?
Heya . I don't think WMT do the DFFT anymore as it was scrapped last year. Enhanced level is a higher pass mark I believe

So are you saying that WMT potentially even if you have passed all your psychometrics if they are not enhanced level you have to re do it all again?
If you are refering to the stage 1 and stage 2 tests at the OPC then yes you would need to do them again if you have done them with another TOC for example but only reached national standard. WMT is enhanced standard so all your tests will need to achieve this standard .

I know what you are saying but in all my time have I ever heard a toc ask a candidate to re do every test?
You do the tests you haven’t met the enhanced mark they want
They want - which no one knows only the toc
That’s why there used to be an extra test to do to meet that enhanced that
And also if you have already passed I am sure that doing them again you wouldn’t lose a life or anything?
But as I say I have never heard a person have to redo the entire set of psychometrics

My understanding is that you would only have to re sit the tests that you did not meet the enhanced standard in. For the ones you passed at there enhanced score you would not have to re do. However if you were to then fail the tests you re sit or not hit the enhanced standard you would loose a life and you current pass. You would then have to wait 12 months before you could re sit.
It is a gamble but if you put the work in the tests are straight forward

Enhanced results don’t necessarily mean doing one extra test. It’s more likely higher test scores on all of them AND an extra test. As you say, who knows but that particular OC themselves.
You may well find out on the day of attending, once they‘ve checked your previous results, you may not have to do all the tests again. Just some/one or just the extra one because all of your other scores have reached their set level.
You may also find out on the day that non of your scores have reached their set level AND you still have to do the extra test too!
Just because you’ve never heard it happen before, doesn’t mean to say it can‘t/won’t/is ridiculous and shouldn’t.

I get you but if you have passed they cannot retract that
You are retaking the tests for a better mark there is no way you would lose a life might have to look into that

I have checked they can take that life if they state the tests supersedes previous ones
It’s a new set of tests
If it simply to achieve an enhanced mark then no you do not lose a life checked and verified
So I am not sure if you have the correct information to be stating this? The toc and opc are in control essentially and you would be told before taken the tests if they will replace previous but generally they don’t as it’s tests to achieve THEIR pass rate of which no one knows every toc is different
If you haven't previously met their standard on a test but you met the national, West Midlands will need you to retake it to meet their standard. If on that retake you don't meet the national standard, that will overwrite your previous pass with a fail. You will then lose a life because you failed to national.

None of us actually know or will ever know the enhanced rate it’s down to the TOC
So it’s unfair of people to say that you will lose a life on here if that is not 100% fact

Yes you would if you failed to pass the tests to even the basic score, you can take and pass them as many times as you like, you can only fail them 3 times.
