West Midlands RHTT 2020

With the 2020 RHTT (Railhead Treatment Train) season starting off soon, does anyone know what will be used on the West Midlands RHTT (Bescot-Euston and many other places-Bescot) this year. A couple of years ago it was operated by DB with 66s and last year it was GBRF with 66s. Is this year GBRF 66s again or is it something different this time?

It's GBRf again this year, but based at Kings Norton rather than Bescot.

There are several circuits out of Kings Norton normally I think.

Any idea why one of these ran on 31st December 2020? Obviously it must have needed to clean the track but it Seems v late in the year! it also had a run out to Bedford on line that wont see trains until 17th jan!

it looked and sounded like an RHTT and was certainly spraying as it passed me.

If it was an MPV then it was most likely deicing.

2 x class 66, a couple of tanks and a pump. Just seemed odd to be running so late in the year. We only get MPV's on weed spray runs round here
