West Midlands Network Map, Mistake or Intentional?

When visiting the new Darlaston and Willenhall stations yesterday I noticed the updated West Midlands Railway network map diagram incorrectly shows the service patterns from the new stations.
The service calling at these stations (Shrewsbury to Birmingham via Tame Bridge Parkway) is shown at Birmingham New Street as potentially offering through direct services towards Birmingham International where as the Rugeley Trent Valley to Birmingham International services is shown as terminating at New Street. This is the reverse to the actual service pattern.

I know this map style used is simplified and already does not show every individual service pattern operated but as the Shrewsbury and Rugeley services are shown opposite to what they should be makes me think this is a mistake, otherwise why not just show all services as potentially operating through New Street?
A previous version of the map does correctly show the Rugeley service.

Normally I would not mention things like this and I know its now a major issue but given these are new stations I think its important to accurately show the service offering if they are going to separate services at New Street on the map.

The Camp Hill line also appears to loops off the Cross City line and back on it's self at Kings Norton rather than being a separate shuttle service.

Back in 2015 if I asked Centro why then nNetwork Zonal Map hadn't been updated to show recently installed wheelchair access iconography at several stations, and they reasoned cost, as a third party was responsible for making & updating the map.

I would be tempted to guess that to arcuately show the service path, they'd have had to make Birmingham New Street a thicker blob which would have resulted in more adjustments needing to be made to accommodate that change so more cost.

It's odd there is a new info box marking Claverdon and Bearley as request stops when if the information on another thread is correct, they no longer are.

Just wanted to get some clarification on whether Bearley and Claverdon are still request stops on West Midlands Railway (not Chiltern) services. Most sources, including Wikipedia and recent threads say they are, but Realtime Trains as well as the WMR timetable on their website denote them as...

I also observe they didn't take this opportunity to update the tactile platform edge iconography at stations following the projects to install more a few years ago I think in time for the commonwealth games. Birmingham Snow Hill definitely has it now.

The service at Willenhall and Darlaston did start last Thursday (19th March).
I have left feedback with West Midlands Railway but I doubt they would change it now, considering it is a relatively minor error and that the maps are have been printed and displayed at these stations and will likely already have them ready for the 3 Camp Hill stations.

If it is an error in provision of information to the ‘mapmaker’ then it incompetence on the part of an employee/management of the railway company: someone will be ultimately responsible. Surely there are no grounds for the ‘error’ to be deliberate. If the error is down to the company/individual who made the map then they should pay for the changes to be made.

I noticed this as well, there are multiple Train Operating Company issues with the map (Transport for Wales serving Smethwick Galton Bridge instead of Sandwell & Dudley, Avanti serving Rugeley Trent Valley...).

My original post focused on the new Willenhall/Darlaston service because these are new stations so the service pattern is likely to be less familiar to potential users compared to existing stations and service patterns. But there are many more issues with the map.

If the error is down to the company/individual who made the map then they should pay for the changes to be made.

That would be unlikely, as the company who made the map would have provided 'proofs' and got sign off from whoever commissioned the map.....
