With only three 323 Crosscity diagrams it is becoming increasingly rare to see them passing one another. My 323 ready reckoner has identified the likely spots and times.
Went up to Wylde Green this morning on a 323 (2U26) to see if it works. Here is my pic.

Redditch to Four Oaks
323240 solo
323222 solo
Bromsgrove to Lichfield:
323216 323211.
However after riding 2G76 2331 Redditch to Birmingham New Street, which was, worked by 323222, around 5 minutes later or so, 323240, on the ecs from Redditch to Birmingham New Street, the other solo 323 which was immediately behind the last passenger service, but running back empty coaching stock, coupled up with 323222 and then 323240 and 323222 departed for Soho.
Leaving 323216 323211 overnight at Birmingham New Street instead presumably
323216 and 323211, will be solo workings, for Thursday 25th July 2024 on the Redditch to Four Oaks.

Still listed as class 730 on Part Time Spotter (although the diagrams haven't changed since mid-June), should be 730005 on its own (which is odd as I don't think I've ever seen a single class 730 on Cross City...)

The 4 323 diagrams were reduced to 3 on Monday (2 x Redditch-Four Oaks, and 1 x Bromsgrove-Lichfield). One Redditch diagram was removed (ie taken over by 730's) and the remaining two stayed the same. The Bromsgrove one was changed. (See my post #847 which shows the diagrams and headcodes involved). 2P15 is now a 323, and yesterday was two units - 216 & 211.

216 Is the other solo one, as a unit swap I observed at Birmingham New Street, had taken place last night, and 323222 323240 went to Soho as 323222, obviously moved for Maintenance.
However 323215 has been removed for a week last in Service Thursday 18th July 2024,
Will 323214 ever run again??

I think I saw all three this morning. Was on one at New Street towards Bromsgrove. The late running train to Longbridge on the opposite platform was a 323 and we passed another on route which was coming up from Longbridge direction.

They finish at new Street each night after finishing the two solo Redditch diagrams so once they start to be removed, The Sunday usage will be reduced

323211 to 1745, then solo after 1915, temporary removal due to a power fault at Wylde Green and 323211 to Soho for a pantograph check as advised by a member of Wmr Staff.
Bromsgrove to Lichfield
323221 323215 till 1653,
323215 solo after 1953,
Again due to damage 323221 remained at Soho from a power failure at Wylde Green.
After coming out of service at 1735 Birmingham New Street 45 late approximately.
Note cross city line was in cahos all day from a on board passcomm incident at Bromsgrove, before the, 1129 at Bromsgrove 323 departure to Lichfield,
Then following on a huge power outage, failure at Wylde Green in the afternoon, affecting power supply to the trains, and causing cahos, for remainder of the day, so not the best of days, all around.

If anybody manages to pass Bromsgrove, a voyager has failed on the platform that would usually hold electric trains. It says on Open Time Trains that they are using platform 1, can anybody confirm if this is accurate as it seems very odd. I assumed this was a not electrified line, so I am keen to know what their motive is. See diagram of the station just now below:

It is electrified, although the large portals don’t go over all four tracks there are also single cantilevers on the outside of the masts.
