AND THEN THERE WERE NINE!
Eight units have been out in service in the last week, including the last one for Northern
… missing were 214 (at Wolverton) and 201 (laid up at Soho).
323218, the 17th and final transfer to Northern left the West Midlands today.
This week: Same four 323 diagrams (1 Bromsgrove-Lichfield, 3 Redditch-Four Oaks)
… and seven 730 diagrams on Crosscity (5 Bromsgrove-Lichfield, 2 Redditch-Four Oaks)
323214 has finally been transferred back from Wolverton to Soho, complete with 'Wylde Green' name

I can't really say, but if there are any out I think they work the same diagrams on a Saturday - provided, of course, there aren't engineering works along the line.

Yes they do Saturday, apart from the Monday to Friday ecs working after working Redditch to Four Oaks, then is ecs, to Soho, However on a Saturday it works around 2315 Four Oaks to Birmingham New Street in passenger service and from Birmingham New Street, then ecs to Soho, plus the other diagram Monday to Friday does 2139 Lichfield to Bromsgrove, and 2303 Bromsgrove to Four Oaks, however on a Saturday it's 2139 Lichfield to Longbridge only, then Works back Longbridge to Four Oaks and stables until around 1630 pm on a Sunday before it goes ecs to Soho.

I'm pretty sure 218 already left for Northern the same day 214 came back from repairs.Is this 323218 moving to Northern?

218 left Soho the other day but they normally stay at Wolverton for a couple of days for wheel work no?

218 went from Soho to Wolverton with 240. 240 brought 214 back to Soho. 218 is thus at Wolverton, and so 5N36 on Thursday will be for 218 to finally head to the North-West.

No. After heading down to Wolverton there is usually a few days before the transfer up north.

Enjoyed the sight of Centro green 323221 in the bay at Four Oaks earlier today. As lone surviving Walsall Trident 4566 passed on the 6 (366 as was) back to its home town. Modern reminiscences.....

Well due to train crew shortages, 323211 and 323221 have joined together this evening, still running between redditch and four oaks. So I suspect we will see 2 new solo units tomorrow.

Apparently 323215 323240, went to Soho as booked, 323221 323211 back solo observed at Birmingham New Street around Midnight, on platform 11.
So probably both solo again on Redditch to Four Oaks on Thursday 11th July. 2024
