323212 & 323220 will be going to Wolverton tomorrow and Saturday (whichever way round) for handback repairs (no room at Soho) prior to redelivery to Allerton.

All 323s were based at Soho, and 730s should replace them, but have any 730s started to use Soho yet ? Or maybe they are modifying the site for 730 servicing.

730s are stabled on Soho and have been for a few months now, I think they run the driver training runs up the Chase line from Soho.

How does the driver get back to Soho once he/she reaches Wolverton or Allerton? Dead-heads on a service train then taxi to/from the commercial railway station, or taxi the whole way?

I think only a handful are remaining with WMR. Peak crowd busters?
They're all leaving WMR eventually, it's just that not all are going to Northern, the rest will be going off lease and probably scrapped.

They should be returned to poterbrook, I don't believe WMT are keeping any 323s long term sadly.
I think they be put out to tender for lease or possibly disposal

I think the remaining 9 will end up at northern after the electrification works have been done on the wigan to bolton via westhoughton line.

Let's hope so, But with the 350/2s, TPE MK5s and 175s currently have no future homes (To my knowledge) which are more modern compared to the 323s, I'm not very confident personally.

323243 Longbridge and 323219 Kings Norton are working together this afternoon. As are 323222 Redditch and 323202 Butlers Lane. 323218 worked as a singular 3 car set unfortunately.
323209 Birmingham New Street is also out, couldn’t catch the unit it was coupled with. Same for 323221 Centro.

Don't think they're going into northern colours until all 17 have transferred, could be wrong.
