Hello there,

I wonder if anybody could help me please?

I've been reading through this forum after getting caught by the Revenue Protection agency at Birmingham New Street Station, last week and I am keen to sort asap. However I gave my old address to the officer in question through sheer panic (I have recently moved).

I have spoken to my old residence already about forwarding any potential mail on but would like to know if possible for me to speak to someone from the agency to get my address update on their end. Does anyone have direct numbers that I can try (West Midlands Rail)?

Really worried that I am going to miss any correspondence. The person at the station I spoke to said they could email me but want to have everything correct just in case.

Thanks

You can contact WMR customer services at the website which has multiple ways of contacting them below.

Were you given a small white slip?
If yes that will have your MG11 reference on it.

If you do not explain what happened and give details of the old address and then the new one they can get in touch with the correct people.

Unless they are an exception, West Midland’s Customer Services department probably won’t be able to help you supply the correct department with the address. You might find yourself in the position of believing that the correct address has been sent to the relevant department, but it is lost in the internal system, if it gets that far.

Hopefully, one of the experts here will be able to supply you with a suitable address. And, yes, if you have a reference number it is best to make sure that it is attached to the address information.

The Customer Services department work very closely with the Revenue Protection department for sometime now as people lose the slip and or want to ask for more information.

Many thanks for all your relies, we have emailed West Midlands Customer Services Department and we have received a reply with a case reference number, and a message that just says "when will you hear from us?" and nothing else regarding our question, but we believe this is just a generated email, not feeling very hopeful we will ever get a reply.

Why is there not a phone number, email or even an address for any questions or queries from customers in the same position?

There is a customer relations number on the link I gave.

Train companies typically don't publosh telephone numbers for the prosecutions departments simply because they would then get inundated with people trying to ecplain and argue their cases.

If you've recently moved then it might be best to arrange for your post to be redirected by Royal Mail.
