I have purchased a £10 anytime day return ticket from West Ealing to Gerrards Cross “valid only via Greenford”. Presumably this ticket is valid between Greenford and West Ruislip on LU Central Line services? Or is it a ticket which shouldn’t be available?

I think the route is supposed to read "Greenford (Und)" according to the through ticketing arrangements with London Underground (e.g. see here: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/requ...attach/3/Through Ticketing Agreement 2000.pdf ) but it was changed a couple of years ago. So yes I think it is supposed to allow travel as you suggest, but it isn't really set up properly in the rail industry data feeds to allow journey planners to offer it for such a journey.

Edit: fix broken link

Thank you, to add to the confusion I was able to purchase the ticket on gwr.com but not through TheTrainline.
