Travelling back from Broxbourne just now, I noticed that all trains to London were going via Stratford rather than Clapton. This was an interesting diversion, as I've not been round the junction from Platforms 11/12 at Stratford onto the GEML before.
I assume this is down to engineering works around Clapton-ish, as the Chingford trains aren't running but the Cheshunt/Enfields are. Does anyone know what work is being carried out?

Yes, it's engineering works and they were doing that last weekend as well. Not sure if there's more weekends to come like this, but should be easy to check.

They rather added to the fun on the train I was on by announcing we were at Tottenham Hale when we got to Stratford and that the next station would be Stratford, sewing the seeds of chaos amongst the crowds of Westfield shoppers.
