Werrington diveunder/Peterborough platform

Hello all, just a quick question I'm looking at travelling on the 1710 from Peterborough to spalding, if as usual it departs from platform 7 does it have to use the diveunder en route? Thanks

From a quick look at Traksy, yes it will, as there is no route from P7 to the down fast.

Yes, @Donny Dave is correct. If you look at the detailed timings on site such as Real Time Trains - you’ll note that it isn’t timed to pass Werrington Junction, instead uses Marholm Junction.

Same with 2K17 14:55 ex-Doncaster which forms it.
